Jerry Abney founded Amazing Vision Wood Work in hopes that it would inspire you. His hope is that his perseverance encourages others to reach for their goals each and every day. Jerry’s wife helps him with design ideas and provides moral support throughout the process.

Jerry experienced vision loss after a yearlong deployment during Operation Iraqi Freedom from 2003 - 2004. The loss of his vision required him to retirement in December 2006 after serving with the US Army for 28 years. He was introduced to wood working during his time in a blind rehabilitation center. During a trying time in his life, wood working helped Jerry to look inward to find beauty and joy. He wishes to pass the same feelings of inner peace and joy to his customers.
